What to Know Before You Move

HTTPS Tunneling Required
FileMaker Pro must use HTTPS Tunneling-based access. We'll help make sure this is set up correctly during migration.
XDBC Not Supported
XDBC connections (ODBC/JDBC) are not supported in Essentials. This is a limitation of the HTTP-based access model.
New Server Address
Your server will be accessible via a hostname on ottomaticessentials.cloud.
Custom domains and custom SSL certificates are not supported with this product.
Global Regions
Available in Los Angeles (LAX) - West Coast US, Newark (EWR) - East Coast US, Chicago (ORD) - Central US, and Amsterdam (AMS) - Europe West. We'll place your environment in the location that provides the best performance for your geography.
No FileMaker Admin Console Access
FileMaker Admin Console access is not available, but most tasks can be done with the Cloud Console and OttoFMS. For script schedules, open a ticket and support can add them for you.
